Dakoda Vintage Fashion Sunglasses
These are my 4th pair of Dot Dash Gooch glasses in 2 years. These are just as good as the last 3 pairs I've owned. The lenses, although black in appearance seem to make my eyes perceive everything as a slight dark blue when wearing them. It's not a bad thing - it was just a bit unexpected. But just as I've come to love the Dot Dash line of sunglasses, the quality is all pretty much the same - good build, nice style, and excellent value. Are they comparable to $100+ glasses? No, but that's not what I want either - an irresponsible sunglasses owner like myself doesn't belong owning a pair of high priced ones.I'm on my third pair of these glasses. I'm a serial, irresponsible glasses owner and I leave them in various places, let my little kid wear them and I wear them to the waterpark and even go underwater with them. These glasses are stylish (for a guy my age, I hope?), handle abuse, and fit nicely. The lenses are pretty resistant to scratches - I don't have any case and I set them on whatever surface I want to - like I said, I'm an irresponsible glasses owner.2nd pair; fit great, great price. These are a great fit and feel and good quality for the priceGreat for the price!Well made despite the price. Dot Dash is Von Zipper's off the rack brand. These are nice, big oversized frames that are a twist on the standard wayfairer design. Great for those with longer or larger faces. The polarized lenses are unbeatable at this price. These feature a matte finish which darkens the tortoise pattern a bit, but they look great in the sun.I've had a pair of these sunglasses for about 4 years now and I've been trying to replace them before they inevitably get lost. I've purchased 2 pairs of these in the last 6 months and both frames broke in the same place - after a few weeks with the first pair and after only 4 wears on the second pair! I'm not particularly hard on sunglasses; they usually stay in my car and are removed from time to time for beach or boat outings. I've had $7 gas station sunglasses that lasted for years...these didn't even last a month. I presume they changed their manufacturing to cut costs and the quality has suffered dramatically. I might consider paying $1 for these, that way I could buy 20 pair for the same price and know that they might have a chance of lasting me a couple years!the only thing I didnt like, is that they come without any bag, or bag to put them away
