Bought the grey frames with blue glass lens Jose’s. The sunglasses are amazing. They are glass lens as described. I purchased from Amazon not a third .party. They are 100% real glass lens costa’s.I highly recommend the try before you buy feature. My oddly shaped head looks best with medium width glasses. It was impossible to pick out a set based on measurements alone.I was sent 4 pairs and by far liked the Jose’s based on my head shape. YMMV but I’d recommend getting a few pairs sent to you if you can’t go try them on nearby. I’d try the green and blue lens for yourself and in sunlight, they are different optically but it’s a personal preference to which is “ better”The glasses are great and a bit better optically then my prism polarized Oakley flak 2.0.I have owned Costas 580p lenses before and they are amazing. Somehow these glass lenses are even more clear! Green mirror is literally made for lake and pond fishing, blue for open water. Nothing else looks through the water like these. I have been trying to get my brother n law to get Costas for 5 years. He has always been an Oakley guy. First trip to the lake with these I made him try them on. Within 5 minutes he had ordered a pair on his phone. His two week review, "Theses are the nicest sunglasses I have ever put on my face!" His Oakley's are now his work glasses and these are his new treasured pair lol.I would suggest doing what I did which was trying on frames at a retail store so I knew exactly what frames fit me the best. Then went online and found the lens and mirror combo I knew I wanted, copper lens with the green mirror. Reds and greens pop like crazy with the copper lens. And the green mirror is almost cheating when bass fishing the shallows once the sun is above the horizon. They come with a case, USE IT! Glass lenses are one expensive oops to mishandle. If you drop things get the 580p plastic lenses. They are not as crystal clear but still more clear than Oakley lenses hands down. They won't be as scratch resistant as the glass but won't break on a drop. They also come with a case, USE IT! These go on my head after work for my hour drive home and go into the case before exiting my vehicle. I expect to get many, many years out of these as I did my old pair. Nothing compares to the clarity and color Costas provide. Buying these straight from Costa del Mar is around $269 on this pair and still worth that price. This is a steal!Only gave a 4 our of 5 for light weight because the glass does weigh more but the clarity is worth it, I can no explain you'd have to put a pair on outdoors on a sunny day to know what I mean. I wear them 10 hours straight when I'm on the lake with no fatigue on my nose, ears or eyes. If the little extra weight is of concern then the plastic 580p may be better for you.I purchased these glasses because they are the top-of-the-line in terms of sunglass protection for those on the water. So far, they have held up to the hype. Spending all day either out on the deck of a ship or the bridge, I can step outside and not have to squint in the slightest. Water and vision in general becomes clearer and the intensity of the sun is lessened significantly. Wherever you sue them, expect colors to become more vibrant with these glasses. There are times I prefer wearing them to not, just because everything "pops" so much more with them on. These rarely fog up, have decent coverage and are durable. I purchased the 580G glass lends and one 3 ft drop to the pavement left only a small scuff. The frame is plastic, but the "arms" of the glasses are designed to bend both directions so you can take them on or off without needing to worry about snapping them. Nose piece not adjustable but still comfortable. The price may be steep, but you are paying for the best sunglasses for deep water use. Would recommend to every mariner. The sun glasses came as represented, great quality, light weight, made is USA (according to the box), genuine Coasta product. The price was right and have owned a few pairs of "top end" sun glasses and these have the features and build quality matching other brands in this price range. Received with case, cleaning cloth and delivered inside Coasta box. Happy with my purchase.I ordered the Men’s Jose and Saltbreak and decided to keep the Jose. Very light weight, great fit with the flexible hinges, excellent eye coverage and the polarized mirrored 580g lenses are the real deal. Hard to beat in my opinion. I believe I will wear these for a very long time.Perfect shades for driving as well as inshore fishing. Lightweight, great fit, sturdy construction, awesome polarized lenses. Silver mirror lenses are based on the copper lens which tones down blue light. This reduces eyestrain and improves contrast of the other wavelengths, especially red and green. This effect is beneficial for sight fishing unless you are fishing in blue water for blue fish.Go for the glass lenses as others have mentioned, as polycarbonate lenses WILL acquire annoying scuffs and scratches eventually even with gentle regular use. My initial pair of Jose's were in perfect condition after 3 years of heavy use until I had the bright idea of leaving them in my back pocket at the beach while drinking. *crunch* Another life lesson learned. Ordered a second pair the moment I had internet connectivity. After i got LASIK eye surgery I wanted to celebrate by getting a nice pair of sunglasses. I have a somewhat wide head, and have a hard time finding sunglasses that fit. I looked up all of the Costa styles that were XL, went the local sporting goods store to try them on, and they were all too small. Then I just started trying them on, and found these. They fit great and don't squeeze my head like most of the styles did. The store did not have the frame/lense style that I wanted, so I found them here on Amazon (quite a bit cheaper I might add)These have a amazing fit with the flex-fit springs, So comfortable.Quality is excellent and they look great. Very happy with my purchase.
