So comfortable you won’t even know you’re wearing them. The "S" shaped temple design adjusts to the contours of your head for ultimate comfort. The moment you try on an exceptional pair of sunglasses, you know, as they conform to the contours of your head as if they were designed just for you. That's just one of many reasons to check out the Serengeti Dante sunglasses. Outfitted with a double-action S-Flex frame that remembers your head shape and automatically moves back into place each time you put them on, the Dante sunglasses are so comfortable you won't even know you're wearing them. The sunglasses also feature Serengeti's "driver's brown" lenses, which adjust to the changing light conditions that you inevitably encounter on the road, making them ideal for long car trips or afternoons on the water. Made from the finest materials--with advanced molecular technology that's engineered into the glass itself--the lenses will last a lifetime with proper care. All Serengeti sunglasses carry a one-year warranty. excellent quality very good value for moneyI bought these specifically for driving. Flawless design and lenses. I forget that I'm wearing them. The bows are very unique (almost delicate) and have some forgiveness. A tiny bit heavy on my nose. Check the temple screws for tightness: my screw came out and was lost. The local optometrist tech installed and tightened a new screw. It was the smallest screw I've ever had. Like, the tiny jewelry screwdrivers are too big to screw this screw.I've worn a pair of Serengeti Granada sunglasses for 3 years (which are great), and the spring hinge on one side broke recently. I couldn't find a source for parts so I decided to send them in to have them fixed. If I could have just gotten a new earpiece assembly I would have done that, and in hindsight I should have tried calling Serengeti and asking if I could order one from them. But anyway, I sent them in with a note also mentioning that the coating on the lenses had sort of separated on the outer edges shortly after I got them.So a few weeks later I got the glasses back, and Serengeti (Bushnells) had replaced both (defective) lenses with new ones, replaced the broken earpiece assembly with a new one, and (I'm not sure, but it's tight again) fixed up the other spring hinge that hadn't broken. Out of warranty. For a $10 shipping fee! I paid $12 to ship them there, so for $22 my out-of-warranty Granadas are basically like new again. I have to say I like Serengeti even more now!But back to the Dantes:I was considering the Dante sunglasses originally so I thought I'd get a pair to wear while the others were being fixed. I had the 555nm black polarized lenses on the Granadas, so I got drivers polarized lenses on this pair. The 'rose'-colored Drivers lenses are pretty amazing... The world looks kind of drab when you take these off after wearing them for a while. They are amazing for driving or anything else really. There's truth to that saying... And note that the Dantes don't have spring hinges, which is one reason I decided to get these rather than another model. Theses glasses are great so far, and I don't have to worry about spring hinges breaking. Did I mention the lenses are awesome?I have tried many other lenses. I am a sunglasses geek. I keep coming back to the Serengeti driver lens as the best overall for any weather condition. Many other lenses are just too dark for certain lighting situations but these will still work in lower light, fog etc. This is my 4th pair of Serengeti's.Just wonderful clarity and great style.I have never owned glass sunglasses so they are heavier than I'm used to but they do wear very comfortably for extended periods of time.Blocks glareHad perscription Serengeti's year ago and loved them. Bought a cheaper version that did not have the same optics. These Dantes are the real deal and worth the extra $$$When you look thru the lenses its like day and night. They stop glare, got a nice tint, stylish and don’t break the bank compared to other brands with less tech in the lenses. Definitely worth it.Was looking for glasses to replace my damaged 14 year old Maui Jim's. These were the only glasses that came close having quality frames and real glass lenses. However, just like the cheaper RayBans I possess, there is an element of blue flare or reflection in some circumstances when the sun is behind or to the side of the wearer which I presume is down to one of the lens treatments. In all other aspects they match my existing but scratched Maui Jims. I wasn't prepared to spent upwards of £200 on new, glass Maui Jims so there you go.....Read various reviews on the internet in an attempt to source the best driving glasses for my budget. Finally decided on choosing the Dante's and I can say they have been worth every penny. The glasses are lightweight and very comfortable sitting on the face. The lenses cover my entire scope of vision and can cope with driving head on into bright sunlight and glare. One of the best product investments I have made in a long time.Excellent designs and past use of their products.VERY PLEASED WITH THESE GLASSES.LIGHT WEIGHT AND NICE FIT.WOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN,THANK YOUexcellent product good service regards j
