I got tired wearing cheapie sunglasses as I notice I dont wear them and the images i see seem distorted compared to name-brand designer sunglasses. That saying, this is my first such sunglasses.STYLE: awesome! As one reviewer said, it combines the wayfarer style with the clubmaster. I love the wayfarer as I am a child of the 80's but it has become too mainstream to my liking. I tried the Rayban clubmaster and liked it but wanted something with more 'wow' factor. So I got this bad boy....it is wow. I also think it has that oversized cat-eye look to it too which i find classy and elegant.SIZE: I really think almost anyone can wear this unless one has smaller head than average (say, a teen). I am female and dont consider myself to have a big head/face. I am petite 5'3 and 122lbs so my face isnt very round. Yet this specs fit me just fine. I do have Asian nose though without a very prominent bridge so sometimes the sunglasses kind of slides downward to my nasal bone. I will post a pic when I get a chance. I myself tried to adjust the nasal bridge part of the sunglasses to conform to my nose which helped a bit (maybe get a pro to do it cause i am afraid i might loosen it)QUALITY: I honestly havent test ran this sunglasses yet. Will update soon with more detail if needed. But from initial trying out and looking at myself on mirror, the images i see are very clear outdoors. I can see pink where pink is, red where red is, etc....not yellowish-pink or greyish red. The body of the sunglasses (black parts) esp at the bar- temples are made of a light weight but seemingly good quality plastic-like material. At first I was disappointed as I feel plastic for a $100 specs is unwarranted as the regular clubmasters sported metal, but I do understand why rayban did this. If this part was metal, this sunglasses would be heavy. the lens is already of significant size and weight. Considering Luxotica pretty much is a monopoly on all sunglasses from rayban to louis vuitton, I believe in their quality and feel my eyes are in safe hands.SUNGLASSES EXPRESS: This is where i ordered my pair. I have been pleased with their competitive price (one of the lowest here on amazon). I even got a free cleaning set. Sunglasses also came with rayban brochure, case and lens wipe cloth. Glasses looked new, no scratches, etc. My oversized clubmasters was made in italy. If i get a chance, will post detailed pics of my specs so you can check authenticity.OVERALL: very pleased with my purchase. I cant wait to really wear it in public. Quality-check. Size-for all. Style is unique and timeless. If you are one of those who want something different, yet retro and classy, this is your baby.For years I've always followed ZZ Top's advise and wore cheap sunglasses. Mainly because I'd lose or break them. But, I've had a real epiphany with these. First, the quality is amazing. The comfort and construction is well beyond my past pairs. Secondly, the expense of this pair causes me to be more aware of keeping up with them and protecting them. That was never the case with the cheapies. I'd usually have a few pairs on hand because I didn't care much about them. Not so with these. I love the retro style the most. The one reason as to why I gave it a 4 star is because I purchased this pair for the full retail price and literally as soon as I ordered and paid for them I noticed all bans for a 50$ off regular price (which I find to be bs) and the another reason is that they were a bit out of alignment and I had to fix it so definitely not giving a 5 starRay-Ban is my favorite go-to brand in eyewear as I am never disappointed with their look, quality, and feel. Their price point is always fair for the amazing workmanship. I have owned other designer brands over the years, but find that I prefer shopping Ray-Ban first for overall satisfaction. I have these in classic black frame with the G15 crystal green lens which is my favorite lens as you get some of the best color clarity without compromising on sun protection.Classic Clubmasters are classy and timeless, but for those of us with facial shapes that think them less flattering on ourselves will find the Clubmaster Oversized to be the perfect alternative if you aren't sold on the originals. They are now my favorite pair of Ray-Bans that I own.You get the durability and casual appeal of a Wayfarer frame on top with the elegance and class of the gold-rimmed Clubmaster on the bottom. They fit nicely with the nosepads, never feel too heavy, too lightweight or "flimsy", and are ideal for any type of wear. They are also incredibly stylish and attention grabbing. I like to mix up my sunglasses depending on the fashion that I'm wearing, but find these compliment all of my outfits whether it be dressy or casual. That's the cool thing about the dual nature of their appearance! They are also a more unique pair you don't see as often as the Wayfarers and classic Clubmasters. Highly recommend!They are definitely much larger than you'd expect, if you were expecting them to be similar to Ray-Bans' Clubmaster style. The frame is matte black, not shiny, but I actually prefer the matte over the shiny. If you order them through Amazon (as the seller, not just the website!) then you can pretty much guarantee that they are legitimate Ray-Bans. Some reviewers were saying that their's weren't well-packaged and the box was crushed, but perhaps this is again because they purchased from a third party seller. Mine came in a well padded box and the box containing the sunglasses case was completely unharmed. My complaint about the sunglasses is that they are a bit heavy and the nosepieces aren't made for shallow nose bridges like mine, so if you're Asian (like me) you might find it difficult to keep these from sliding down your nose, especially if it's hot out. Also, they are a bit large, so if you're one of those people who believe the sides of the glasses shouldn't extend out past the sides of your face, these might not be the ones for you. My face is round and wide, and they are still large for my face. Luckily I like big sunglasses, so it works for me, so I might keep them if I can get used to pushing them up my nose every 5 minutes.I do not believe these were genuine for the following reasons.1. Package was damaged.2. Nose pads were cloudy, i.e. not clear.3. RB etching was missing on the lense.They looked very good and were comfortable but I'd rather have the genuine article.Always wanted a pair of high end sunglasses.i was really impressed with these .they are very comfortable and you can see the quality. Highly recommendedGreat shape and good size lenses.Great value great looking, and do the job. It is worth paying more for polarised for driving especially when it tips down, but for general wear couldn't get better.
