I ordered this thinking that it was more formal/grownup style shades than the Oakley Holbrook I have. This pair looked great, but they actually have even taller lenses than my Holbrook(that oversized look), so I had to take advantage of Amazon's generous return policy & send it back. It's about the half the cost of the Holbrook, so if I didn't already own the more expensive pair, this would've been a good buy, though I think Oakley's supposed to be more durable.I lost my regular sunglasses and ordered these in a pinch. I've had Von Zippers before but I didn't want to pay a lot. These are great. Super light and dark dark (tho not THE darkest) lenses. Even Leon Talley is a fan !I wanted to like these and they were quite nice at first. The optics are clear and not distorted and the color of the lens is neutral, which is exactly what I was looking for after years of wearing the (now sadly out of style Oakley Fives), however after a few months of daily use (purchased Sep 2016 and it's now Jul 2017), the matte finish is peeling!This is my second pair of these (first pair got lost). They are lightweight but feel very well made. The polarization technology is great, I can barely function outside anymore when I'm not wearing these glasses. I think they have a stylish, understated look.If you have a fat head like me may be to tight on the templesgood sunglasses!Love the style, snug fit but they don't squeeze too tight! Perfect lenses!
