I liked the glasses but they are too large for my face. I have a very small head which makes getting sunglasses difficult. The side arms didn’t hug my face so they didn’t feel secure. I’m going to try the teen/kids version. Otherwise they are a good pair of glasses except I’m not sure if the side arms can be adjusted to wrap around your ear.Fit, perfect for a normal noggenLenses, great adjustment from low to bright light. The anti-fog coating works amazing as I'm using it with a mask due to work requirements. Cleaning it though is time consuming.Side shields, work well, would have preferred a little larger and in black to block out light properly.Arms, work well with a headband and/or cap/hat. Biggest problem is that without headgear on, they tent to slip off easily. I'm very conscious of this fact and hold onto them if the situation requires it.Other than that, these glasses really are worth every cent.I purchased them for the photochromatic properties and the side shields in particular.Would recommend these glasses to anyone that wants a quality pair that you can rely on. Been using daily for a few weeks now. No scratches to deal with.Worked good but got really foggy and almost had around 10% vision when descending a glaciarI ordered the Monterosa 2 with the reactive lenses that range from 2-4. Initially, I loved these glasses. The lense is big enough that almost your entire field of vision is unobstructed; the only location I can see glasses frame while I am wearing them is the lower portion over my cheeks, and this doesn’t obstruct my view of the rest of the world at all. The side shields prevent light from hitting my eyes and causing my pupils to constrict, and then struggle to see through the glasses anyway. The polarized lenses make the world more crisp and detailed than with natural vision alone. The reactive lenses make these easy to wear even as you move from bright direct sun into the shade- they adjust to the level of darkness needed. But… then, less than a month into owning them, on one of my hikes, I got back to my car and realized one of the side shields was missing. The next day, the other one disappeared on my morning hike. We’re talking walking here. They fell apart and pieces fell off just walking. These glasses are far too expensive to just have pieces falling off. I looked up to see if replacement parts can be purchased, and the company wants $60 for replacement side shields (they list ones for sale for $6.50, but those are all “sold out”, so only $60 pieces of plastic exist). If you want glasses that are functional for more than a month, look elsewhere. These can’t even withstand the stresses of a leisurely stroll in the hills.Good for the alpine, protected my vision. Not crazy about the tight fit above the ear, however. I was popping ibuprofen on my glacier expedition because of these. Still searching for the best fitting glacier glasses. She has raved about this product:She speaks her mind.If she gives them a great review and they are essential in the precarious nature of her work location, I don’t think you could find a better endorsement.Updating review to 5 stars- the Julbo customer service was outstanding. Replaced my side shield and gave me advice on how to secure them better to avoid losing them again (make sure they are clicked in all the way and/or consider super glue if you don’t need the shades to be convertible; I’ll do this since I use these glasses exclusively on sunny glaciers!).Old review: I lost a side shade on the first outing with my new glasses. They don’t attach securely-The lenses are excellent though.I was looking for some replacement mountain glasses. I thought I would try these out as they were so much cheaper than my go to brand. They were great. Fitted well, look great and had nice features like removable side light blockers and rubber lanyard. Lenses were awesome too and a great color.I saw these recommended on a blog and they did not disappoint. The arms wrap around the head, and they do not slip on my face. The side sheilds are not too intrusive and provide a nice bit of extra protection. The polarised reactive lenses are awesome! I feel these are much more protective than some over priced fashion brands, and I can't wait to try them whilst hiking!Calidad precio es de lo mejor que he tenido. Cumplen perfectamente para conducir, pasear y playa. Ajustan muy bienPerfecto ajuste a la cara, muy buen filtro.Qualità garantita julbo, forse un po' leggera la montatura
