Originally, I used Chums Adjustable Orbiter Eyeglass Retainers. It was the same design as these but they were wired, not braided cord. They were great but anytime I wore a collared shirt or coat my glasses would get pushed forward and would not sit right on my face. These are the same set up but now I can wear coats without any issues. The length is short enough, about 16 inches and its greatest length, that they don't hang too low on my chest. I would buy these again and I would recommend them to family & friends.
